In other words, you’re on from start to finish! From the moment you’re hired, keep in constant contact with your client to be sure you are meeting all of her needs and goals for the event. Also be sure to keep all vendors on your timeline by continually touching base with them.
Stay open, honest and up front with your client while planning the event.
If you hit any snags, and you undoubtedly will, resolve them quickly. Use your judgment to decide if the client needs to be made aware of each issue. Staying open and honest with your client will increase your trustworthiness and they will have complete confidence in you. Don’t let them down! As you continue to grow your event planning business, always maintain your own personal ethics and high standards.
