Building Your Reputation as an Event Manager

For the last month I’ve been putting my event manager skills to good use by working with a friend on his business. Kyle and I met at a conference nearly two years ago in the Dominican Republic – not a bad place to go for a conference, right?

Kyle has built an amazing business that helps other entrepreneurs and his reputation precedes him. He’s genuine, honest, hard working and smart. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with him and I’m honored to have the opportunity.

Kyle has built a strong reputation in the industry and I’d say it’s because he’s great at what he does but he also loves what he does and people recognize him for this.

But his reputation wasn’t built overnight. And yours won’t be either.

So, how do you establish social proof, build trust and a great reputation as an event manager so your clients brag about your event planning services to everyone they know?

How do you build your reputation as an event manager – whether you’ve been in business for years or you’re just getting started?

How To Build Your Reputation as an Event Manager

(you can use these tips in all areas of your life, not just when you’re planning events!)

In the comments below, I’d love to hear from you. Let me know what event planners around you have a great reputation (go ahead and give them a shout out by tagging them!) and how you’ll use the 3 steps I shared today.
